  • Cohorts meet in person four times - once every six months, for 18 months. There are also four Zoom check-in calls that occur in between meetings. This consistent follow up is a key to the success of pastoral plans.

  • Gatherings begin at 12:30pm on Monday and concluded at 12:30pm on Wednesday. Meetings generally wrap up at 5:30pm on Monday and Tuesday with optional evening activities. Teams are commissioned and depart at 12:30pm on Wednesday.

  • Meetings are interactive and collaborative, both within parish teams as well as mixed groups. Every gathering includes time to evaluate your current challenges as a parish, gain new insights and discuss ideas and opportunities. Each meeting concludes with parish teams discerning and creating goals and action steps for the future.

  • Cohort gatherings generally take place at retreat centers. Participants stay overnight, sharing meals together and evening activities. The retreat experience contributes to team building and cross team collaboration.

  • The cohort fee is $6,000 for the two year process. This covers the pastor and up to 5 team members, and includes all sessions, meeting supplies and access to all resources presented in the meetings. Retreat center fees are in addition to the cohort fee and vary based on location and number of people.
